Firefox: Delete Cookies / Cache / Forms / History

To delete your browser's history, please select the appropriate version below:

Firefox 3.5 - 5
Firefox 6 - 11

Firefox versions 3.5 - 5

Step 1. Click the Tools menu and select Options.

Tip: If you are unable to locate the Tools or other menus, right click at the top of your screen and select Menu Bar to display the menu bar.

Step 2. Under the Privacy tab, click the Clear your recent history link.

Step 3. On the Clear History screen, choose the appropriate option:

To delete all browsing history:
Use the Time range to clear drop down menu to select the Everything option.
To specify which history items are included:
Click the arrow button next to Details, and use the checkboxes to select specific items, such as Cookies and Cache.

Step 4. Click Clear Now, then click OK to exit the Options screen.

Firefox versions 6 - 11

Step 1. Click the Tools menu and select Clear Recent History.

Tip: If you are unable to locate the Tools or other menus, right click at the top of your screen and select Menu Bar to display the menu bar.

Step 2. On the Clear History screen, choose the appropriate option:

To delete all browsing history:
